The average surfer will only wait a few short seconds for a page to load. Unless they are specifically looking for your site, your message has to be clear and register quickly... hopefully even before the page has fully loaded... to hold his or her attention.

Corporate Identity
Speaking of First Impressions, your "Corporate look" or Identity, usually portrayed in the form of your "logo" or "trademark" and carried throughout your publications with corporate colors and other graphic and copy elements, is often the first impression your customer has of your offer. Before they read the copy, often before they even read the headline, they'll have an impression of who or what you are all about.

Make sure that impression is one you can be proud of. Does it say "integrity?" Does it portray a solid, professional business - one that they can trust to back up its claims?
